Hold on to your cookies, 16-year-old sets back-flipping world record

10/9/2012

We hope someone had a giant Advil on hand for 16-year-old Miranda Ferguson after this incredible back-flipping performance that earned her a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. The Texas cheerleader executed 35 consecutive back handsprings during halftime at Friday's Hockaday School football game, springing from one 15-yard line to the other. The teen managed 20 last year and knew she had to surpass the existing record of 32 to bag the world record, tumbling on and drawing much-needed energy from those Texas-style whoops and cheers. Then without puking even once, she headed out onto the field to put on another show. Bravo! [Source]
