Well, America, it's no secret that our fabulous lives of sitting on our asses stuffing down Krispy Kremes, Big Macs and bacon sundaes have made us somewhat rotund. And, with the release of the federal government's "obesity map" we now know who's doing the most to tip the scales in that direction. According to the data, we can wag our sausage-like fingers at Mississippi as the fattest state in America, with a husky 34.9 percent of its citizens in the "obese" range. Colorado is the home of our thinnest countrymen, yet even there one-in-five adults is lovably full-figured. The South generally is the United States' chunkiest region (29.5 percent), followed, panting, by the Midwest (29 percent). [Source]
