He might not be president, but Mitt did get 'Quotes of Year' honors

12/10/2012

Former presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has won the (dubious?) distinction of having uttered 2012’s best quote — at least according to a Yale librarian who just released his seventh annual list of the year’s most notable quotations. The sound bite in question: "There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what…" (Remember that one?) The Romster also snagged the No. 2 spot on the list with his unintentionally hilarious and much-mocked "binders full of women" debate quip — aka the oddball comment that sparked a thousand memes. President Obama also made an appearance on the list with his "you didn't build that" comment. [Source]
