Romney's concession speech urges, uh, concessions

He may have wanted badly to be president, but despite the bitter turns the 2012 presidential campaign took, Mitt Romney gave his gracious best in his concession speech after losing Tuesday's election to Barack Obama — and his smile almost looked like relief. "At a time like this, we can't risk partisan bickering and political posturing," he told his supporters in a five-minute speech. "Our leaders have to reach across the aisle to do the people's work, and we citizens also have to rise to the occasion." No mention of how Citizen Romney might rise again, however.
