Now Jewish men can be holy and hard-core sports fans at the same time
1/27/2013While sports fandom is pretty much a religion unto itself, it doesn't score you any piety points. This will. Now Jewish men with a jones for the NBA or Major League Baseball can show their devotion and cover their obligations to their faith thanks to the Pro-Kippah, a yarmulke branded with pro team logos and marketed by The Emblem Source. It's obviously a niche market and there's no celebrity Jewish athlete yet to spur sales, but it does seem to be doing well in Brooklyn and other urban centers with large strong Jewish populations. The downside? It doesn't shield a fan's eyes from the sun. But he'll be a champ at the synagogue. [Source]
