MLB pitchers read 'Fifty Shades of Grey' out loud to each other

7/27/2012

Things get slow in the bullpen sometimes, even when your team is tied for the best record in baseball. Four Washington Nationals relievers cooked up a crazy plan recently when one of their teammates, first baseman/outfielder Michael Morse, was erroneously outed by a blogger as having read “Fifty Shades of Grey.” He may not have read it, but the relievers decided they should. To one another. On camera. Here are the hilarious results, complete with ‘70s-porn background music, black-and-white imagery, knowing looks and self-conscious laughter, even though these guys didn’t even cover the book’s most delicate parts. Perhaps they did that together off-camera.
