MLB player who falsified his age gets extra birthday cakes
7/23/2012
Hang onto those Fausto Carmona cards, kids! The Cleveland Indians pitcher got to spend a little time in the slammer after he was arrested in January in his native Dominican Republic for falsifying his identity and subtracting three years from his age. After a series of troubles getting his visa in order, the man now known as Roberto Hernandez finally returned to Cleveland yesterday where his teammates greeted him with three birthday cakes to represent all the ones they (and everybody else) missed. They’ll need to bake another one on Aug. 30 when Hernandez has his next (supposed) birthday. [Source]
