Canadians so sad over hockey lockout they're not even drinking beer
11/9/2012What's worse than a Canadian who doesn't have beer or hockey? We're not sure, but there are plenty of them you can ask. Molson Coors, the country's "oldest and biggest beer company," says its sales have plummeted and they're blaming the ongoing NHL lockout for all of those dry taps and unfilled glasses. "Whether it's people not actually physically going to the venues and consuming there … or having NHL sort of parties at home, all of those occasions have disappeared off the map," Molson CEO Peter Swinburn said.
