Mom jailed for overdue 'Twilight' books and DVDs
6/29/2012New Mexico mom Lori Teel had plenty of time to contemplate Bella and Edward's future while she spent a night in jail for allegedly not returning the book "Twilight" and the "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" double DVD set to her library. Teel was arrested in front of her five kids in her Portales home after the police arrived to investigate a separate matter involving her husband. There, they realized there was a warrant for her arrest over the unreturned $35.98 worth of library materials. Teel said her children were traumatized by their mother being hauled off by the law, proving once again that the "Twilight" franchise ruins young people's lives. The charges against Teel have since been dismissed.
