Normally peaceful monkeys go on rampage in Indonesian village

A monkey dressed up to shop at Ikea or toddling around in a snowsuit is adorable, but a mob of monkeys conducting a full-on rampage is terrifying. Just ask the villagers of Toddang Pulu, Indonesia, who are still recovering after 10 monkeys stormed into town Wednesday, entered houses and attacked residents. The animals are normally scared of people, retreating at the first sound of a human voice. This time, though, the creatures left seven people injured, including a badly bitten teenager who's now in the hospital. The monkeys’ motives are under investigation, but until authorities figure it out, we suggest the villagers avoid watching "Rise of Planet of the Apes" before bedtime. [Source]
