​"Your father smelt of elderberries" is a quote familiar to any Monty Python fan and to anyone who ever shared a dorm or apartment complex or voting district with one. But what, exactly, does an elderberry smell like? Former Python John Cleese (and not, as he introduces himself, Michael Palin) answers that and other user-submitted questions in this YouTube video, one that allows Cleese to discuss why stupid people are stupid, his alternate name for The History Channel and which Python sketch was voted the funniest ever written.
