More women are quitting 9-5 jobs to be ladies of leisure
3/9/2012Educated gals, who may be sick of earning significantly less than their male counterparts, are ditching the office as their husbands bring home bigger paychecks. According to Reuters, a Federal Reserve study shows there has been a 0.1 percent decrease each year from 1993 to 2006 in the number of college-educated women in the workforce. The study's authors link this decline to a sharp increase in pay for top earners, a slot typically dominated by men.
