Bigmouth strikes again: Morrissey slams 'Duck Dynasty,' cancels Kimmel
2/26/2013Anyone who's seen an episode of "Duck Dynasty" would find it hard to be threatened by any member of the bearded-and-bandannaed Robertson family. But we're not Morrissey. The eternally miserable singer canceled Tuesday night's scheduled appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" because he didn't want to share a stage with the reality-show clan. "As far as my reputation is concerned, I can't take the risk of being on a show alongside people who, in effect, amount to animal serial killers," Morrissey said in a statement that was probably written with a synthetically feathered quill, before urging Kimmel to "dump 'Duck Dynasty.'" Despite his pleas, pleas, pleas to get what he wants, Kimmel replaced him with Denver-based band Churchill. [Source]
