Have you ever, like, thought about the words that you found the most annoying? You know, like, whatever? It turns that for the fourth year in a row, the word "whatever" was deemed the most annoying, after 32 percent of adults cited it in Marist's annual poll. Close behind were "like" and "you know." Words that also made appearances on the list included "Twitterverse" and "gotcha," though "seriously" isn't as offensive to our highly refined ears as it once was.
