Most famous beards in rock worth more than $1 million
7/4/2012Congratulations for not selling out. Billy Gibbons, the front-man of Houston-based rock band ZZ Top, recently shared that he and his other bearded band-mate once turned down a whopping million dollars to shave off their trademark beards in a Gillette commercial back in 1984. The rocker called the shaving job "a prospect not to be contemplated, no matter the compensation." One question for the bearded pair: You do realize that facial hair grows back, right? And million-dollar offers (more often than not) don't? Well, to each his own. Now if only we could get Gillette to sponsor such a deal for NBA's Anthony "Angry Bird" Davis.
Do you think they should have accepted the deal?
