Watch Chris Matthews explode on RNC chairman

MSNBC host Chris Matthews couldn't contain himself on this morning's edition of "Morning Joe," tearing into the chairman of the Republican National Committee on live television. The host was apparently upset over Mitt Romney's recent birth certificate joke and accused Reince Priebus' party of playing the race card. "You are playing that ethnic card there," Matthews said. "You can sit there and giggle about it, but the fact is your party is playing that card." Priebus shot back, saying the host was just trying to "push his brand" with his "monologue." At one point, Matthews' co-host had to interrupt the dueling men, giving them warnings about their tone.
