Mumbai commuters calmly endure a hellish train ride

When you ferry 7.24 million passengers each day, as the Mumbai Suburban Railway does, there's bound to be a bit of overcrowding. Or, as the case may be, a level of jam-packed commuting hell unimaginable to the average American. Watch this video which shows a train so full that passengers literally hang off the side of each and every doorway. As Jalopnik points out, it's no surprise the Railway suffers 3,500 deaths every year.
