Mysterious lights make TV traffic report interesting

A Phoenix news station is wondering what the mysterious bright explosion was that was caught on camera during the on-air traffic report. FOX 10 reporter Andrea Robinson was in the middle of her report when what looks like an explosion appears in the distance. The station checked with utility companies to see if a transformer had blown, but that hadn't happened. One commenter smartly responded, "It was a news flash." The unexplained incident comes just days shy of the 15-year anniversary of other famous Phoenix lights: the orbs that hovered over Phoenix and were thought by many to be a UFO sighting.
