Kid gets new bike thanks to tattooed, high-fiving mystery man
8/2/2012A struggling Ontario mom wrote her local paper on Tuesday to thank "Jimbo," the stranger who made her son's summer. During a shopping trip, Mary Hicks explained to her son that she couldn't afford to replace his stolen bike. "A large man covered in tattoos" who'd been playing middle-of-the-aisle hockey with another kid (this IS Canada) overheard her, gave the boy $350 and said "No child should ever be without a bike in the summer." His only request was that the new wheels come from a local shop or a Canadian company. After high-fiving the boy, the department-store superhero disappeared. "It brings a tear to my eye," Hicks wrote. Um, we're just crying from the pollen. Yeah. The pollen. [Source]
