The Mystery Monkey of Tampa Bay has been captured

Some monkey business went down today in Florida, where the primate known affectionately as the Mystery Monkey of Tampa Bay was captured, ending the critter's four-year stretch on the run. The monkey — who had become increasingly aggressive towards humans — had eluded capture since 2008, but was tracked down in St. Petersburg. The rhesus macaque was shot with a tranquilizer by a veterinarian, and was nabbed shortly thereafter by the trappers. The monkey on the lam was popular with many folks, but in recent weeks had begun baring its teeth and lunging at people, even biting a woman on the back. [Source]
