Suspect held in fatal NY subway push
12/5/2012The NYPD has arrested a man in connection with the fatal push that killed Korean immigrant Ki Suk Han in the New York City subway. Naeem Davis, a 30-year-old homeless man, "[implicated] himself," a police spokesman said. After allegedly shoving Han toward an oncoming train, Davis disguised himself by changing clothes and shaving his dreadlocks; he was later identified by local street vendors. The photographer who took the gruesome picture of Han's last moments, R. Umar Abbasi, has both defended his own actions and shifted blame to the others on the platform. "There were people who were close to the victim, who watched and didn't do anything," he said. "You can see it in the pictures." [Source]
