7 cars and their namesakes strike a pose

Chances are few people sitting behind the wheel of a new Crown Vic took a moment to pay tribute to its possible namesake, Queen Victoria. That job was left to the creative team Jimm Lasser (art director) and Ray Gordon (photographer), who've put together a bunch of these "namesake motors" photographs and showcased the results on their Tumblr page. Some are obvious — "Lincoln's Lincoln," of course — while some require a bit of an intellectual leap (we're looking at you, "Homer's Odyssey.") As for the car we'd most like to drive: Sign us up for a ride in Alice Cooper's Mini Cooper, please.
