Say what you like about Russia, they've cottoned on to the whole capitalism thing real quick. Since NASA wrapped up the space shuttle program, Russia has pretty much had the space travel game sewn up. With the U.S. over a barrel, opportunistic Russkies are charging NASA astronauts $70 million per seat on the next flight to the International Space Station, up $5 million. With six astronauts booked in for a 2016 flight, the bill is set to be around $424 million. Let's just hope that covers baggage and meals and that the weather is real nice when they get there.
