NASCAR ace gains firsthand respect for SWAT team

3/23/2012

NASCAR driver Carl Edwards stepped out of a window Wednesday and rappelled down the side of an eight-story building. "That's a lot like driving the car 205 mph down in a corner for the first time of the weekend at Texas," Edward said. "You're like, 'Man, I hope this works out. I hope all the nuts and bolts are tight.'" Edwards, an adrenaline junky, spent the day training with a SWAT team in Fort Worth, capping the whole thing off by "saving" a hostage from a guy dressed up as Edwards' NASCAR rival, Tony Stewart. Top that, buddy.
