Injured NASCAR fans now well enough to call their lawyers

2/27/2013

Two of the 30 or so NASCAR fans injured by flying debris in the Nationwide Series 300 crash at Daytona on Saturday have reportedly sought legal representation. And, despite the disclaimer on the ticket that reads: "the holder of this ticket expressly assumes all risk incident to the event," legal expert Diana Tennis believes all those injured could potentially sue. Not only might the NASCAR organization be liable, but also those responsible for the cars involved, the guys who made the fence, even the guys who made the stuff the fence is made from. Sounds like the legal proceedings could go round in circles for a very long time. [Source]
