Nate Silver nailed the election and now he has your Super Bowl matchup

1/11/2013

Nate Silver was king of the world on Election Day, his stats predicting Barack Obama's re-hiring as president validated at the polls and correctly calling all 50 states. Now run to your bookie with his pick for Super Bowl XLVII: the Patriots vs. the Seahawks, a mix of  "No, duh" and "Really?" Silver goes with their run of late-season blowouts as evidence that the Seahawks are super-ready, even over more popular picks like San Francisco or Atlanta. But he does suggest that a Denver-New England AFC title game might be a "de facto Super Bowl." Elsewhere, Karl Rove insists Week 4's regular-season game between the Broncos and Raiders remains too close to call. [Source]
