Man confesses to murder so he can watch football game
11/6/2012
Some guys won't miss Monday Night Football for anything ... and Nathan Burris is clearly one of them. Not even his own murder trial was going to stop him from getting back to the jailhouse so he could watch the Saints take on the Eagles. Burris, who is representing himself in the trial, is accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend and her male friend. But during his cross-examination at the Contra Costa County Superior Court near San Francisco, Burris tried to speed along proceedings by stating, "I did it. So what? No remorse, no regrets, no mercy. … You want me to draw it out in crayon?" He then reportedly asked the jury to find him guilty so he could watch the football game. [Source]
