Navy dad as Darth Vader surprises son with 'I am your father' reveal

OK, he doesn't actually say "I am your father," because his kid was already well aware of that, but that doesn't take anything away from this super-clever surprise visit. After Dad finagled a 96-hour leave from his Navy post, showing up one month earlier than expected, the surprise was worked into his son's "Star Wars" birthday party. "Star Wars"-themed surprise visits by military dads are apparently becoming a thing. If you're looking for feel-good stories for Veterans Day, it’s hard to get anything better than members of the military surprising their families for a glimpse of the love and sacrifice involved.
