Navy's PSA is the most effective anti-bath salts message we've seen
1/3/2013The U.S. Navy would like to remind all its servicemen and women that bath salts are bad. Really bad. To get that message across, the Navy's medicine department has released a PSA that could easily double as a horror movie. The video puts us in the body of a young sailor who does bath salts, and quickly things get out of control as he vomits, envisions his girlfriend as a demon, assaults her and lands in the hospital, all while an ominous song plays over the drama. Psychiatry resident Lt. George Loeffler from the Naval Medical Center in San Diego then outlines many of the physiological effects of the drug, but trust us, the imagery at the 1:23 mark will be enough to scare away any experimenters.
