Navy SEAL's secret book about bin Laden raid sure to be a bestseller

8/23/2012

One of the members of Navy SEAL Team Six has pulled off another under-the-radar mission: writing a book about the Osama bin Laden raid without tipping off the Navy, the Pentagon or the National Security Council. The government agencies learned about the book, which will be called "No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama bin Laden," the same way the rest of us did, through a press release from the publisher. The SEAL-turned-author uses the pseudonym "Mark Owen" and has since retired after 13 combat deployments since September 11. Appropriately enough, that's the date of the book's release, and the majority of its proceeds will go to SEAL-related charities. [Source]
