NBA to start punishing floppers

Somewhere Jeff Van Gundy is doing a happy dance. The legendary post-flop Van Gundy tirades may be a thing of the past, as NBA league commissioner David Stern recently announced new video reviews of questionable flops, a move which could lead to fines. Apparently taking cues from diving European soccer players, flop abuse in the NBA has gotten a little ridiculous over the past few years, with comically overdramatic dives, followed by writhing in pain, only for players to jump up and be perfectly fine a few moments later.
