NBC doesn't seem to know who Evander Holyfield is

You want news reporters to be cool when interviewing celebrities. I mean, you can't have them drooling all over athletes and asking for autographs. However, NBC took being cool a step further Monday when they interviewed boxing great Evander Holyfield and didn't seem to know who he was. During a man on the street-style clip, a "Today Show" reporter asked random tourists what they thought of the opening ceremony with Queen Elizabeth II and Daniel Craig. Yet Holyfield's comment didn't garner any apparent recognition. The clip of the world heavyweight champion appeared to have gotten past the reporter, the whole team of producers and basically most of America before Holyfield finally tweeted about the encounter later in the morning.
