Nestlé recalls its beef ravioli due to — you guessed it — horse meat
2/19/2013Still can't get enough horse meat? Then you're in luck, hoss, as it seems just about every pre-packaged "beef" product contains a little Flicka. Nestlé is the latest corporate purveyor of mystery meat to pull its products from supermarket shelves after tests revealed its pasta meals sold in Italy and Spain contained at least 1 percent nag. The revelation must be something of an embarrassment for the company given that it comes after they stated last week that their products were definitely horse-free. Has there ever been a better time to be a vegetarian? Sounds like the neighs have it. [Source]
