Nesquik recalled; good luck getting your kids to drink their milk now
11/9/2012If you are settling down to read this with a big glass of Nesquik chocolate milk, pour it out immediately! (Avoid pouring it directly into the keyboard, or you know what, maybe just set it down and don’t drink it.) Nestle USA has issued a voluntary recall of the delicious chocolate powder that makes milk bearable due to concerns it might be contaminated with salmonella, a potentially fatal bacteria that was most recently responsible for a peanut butter recall. The batch that might be affected has an expiration date of October 2014 and was distributed nationwide. Luckily, no cases have yet been reported, and hopefully none will due to Nestle’s voluntary recall, but check your container before you make that next batch of hot cocoa. [Source]
