New bike service conveniently delivers morning-after pill
4/16/2012An online medical provider in London has just launched a new service for those who have an emergency that often requires discretion. Now people who need a morning-after pill can have one delivered by a bike courier. Here's how it works: For 20 pounds, about $32, women sign up online for the "pill-by-bike" service from DrEd. Their claims are assessed by a doctor and the pill is then delivered within two hours. As a means to deter underage users, women must provide a birth date and valid credit card. Critics of the service say it encourages "underage sex" and that "young people have been lulled into a false sense of security."
Is this a good service to provide?
