New 'Harley hearse' is designed for bikers' final rides

"Live to Ride, Ride to Live." That's the longstanding motto of Harley-Davidson owners the world over, and, when it comes time for that roadtrip to hog heaven, bike enthusiasts can now recline in this low-rider en route to their final resting place. Designer and motorcyclist Joerg Grossmann tells BBC News Europe that he believes he can attract about 1,000 bookings for his sidecar hearses in his native Germany alone. Grossmann says the vehicles cost 60,000 euros each ($87,500), and that he will rent them out at 1,200 euros ($1,750) per deceased sidekick. At those prices, this black chariot should really be all chromed out.
