New video shows holding hands with strangers doesn't always go well
7/24/2012Last time Andrew Hales pulled his holding-hands-with-strangers stunt, he did it from the relative safety of a hallway at a college. In fact, we even suggested he not try this on a sidewalk in a busy city. But that's exactly where Andrew and his sister Jacqueline took their project for the follow-up to their first video. In Lake George Village, N.Y., people seemed much less at ease with a stranger sauntering up and grabbing a hand. In fact, several couples get downright aggressive with the brother-sister pair; one guy tells Andrew, "Get the f**k away from me," after he tried to hold his girlfriend's hand. Maybe for the sake of safety it's time to put this experiment to rest.
How would you react if someone tried to hold your hand?
