Watch your back in this NM gun shop or you might get shot by employees

11/21/2012

While we occasionally hear about guns going off in public places, you'd think a gun shop would be the one place where weapons would be handled with the utmost care. A 65-year-old customer at a gun shop in Silver City, N.M., might not agree after he was shot in the back and had to be rushed to the hospital via a medical helicopter. The accidental shooting occurred when an employee of Copper County Sporting Arms was unloading a .45-caliber handgun and it went off, shooting the unnamed man. We're guessing the victim, who was reported to be in stable condition Tuesday afternoon, won't be shopping there again. [Source]
