New scent makes you smell like a freshly printed book

6/4/2012

If you miss the unique smell of an unread tome in this brave new world of e-books, there is now a perfume to meet the needs of nostalgic bookworms. Perfumer Geza Schoen created the "Paper Passion" fragrance for Wallpaper* magazine and book publisher Gerhard Steidl, and the scent promises to "relax you, like when you read a book, to a level of meditation and concentration." With packaging by Karl Lagerfield, "Paper Passion" can be yours for only $115, if you don't want to simply search out whatever book store still exists near you and just stand there sniffing in the aisles instead.
