Umar Abbasi, a freelance photographer for the Post, saw the incident happen and "ran toward the train, repeatedly firing off his flash to warn the operator." If that's true, maybe the chilling picture wasn’t Abbasi's intent, but the Post's decision to run it has been called "sickening" and "gruesome."
