NY Post can't stop putting people about to die on its cover

12/12/2012

Maybe the New York Post's tagline should be "the paper that records imminent death." The tabloid has apparently learned nothing from last week's outcry over its (at best) questionable decision to run a photo of a "DOOMED" man about to be killed by an approaching subway train. Today’s cover features a photo of Brandon Lincoln Woodard, a 31-year-old law student who is milliseconds away from being murdered by a man appearing just behind him. The headline drives the point home: "Drawing his gun, this assassin is about to kill." Tweeps expressed distress about the "disturbing trend." "I wonder who will be getting killed on the cover of the New York Post tomorrow!" wrote one, using the apt hashtag #snuffpaper. [Source]
