Newark's hero mayor saves second person in 3 months
6/23/2012If Newark Mayor Cory Booker isn't a real-life superhero, he's fooling us. The New Jersey politician jumped into action when he happened upon the scene of accident Friday where a pedestrian had been hit by a car. Booker got water and ice for the victim, and waited until paramedics arrived, reminding us that he saved a neighbor from a burning building in April. Booker tweeted about the rescue, leading @thomasjschultz to ask "Are you always in the right place at the right time?" Close, but no (victory) cigar: the Newark-based New Jersey Devils could have used him in their recent Stanley Cup Finals loss.
Do you think he has a bright future in politics?
