GOP is 'incapable of competing' if Clinton runs in 2016, Gingrich says
12/10/2012No matter what side of the aisle they’re on, most Americans can agree: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is a formidable political presence. Apparently Newt Gingrich thinks so, too, and he said as much during a Sunday appearance on "Meet the Press." Gingrich noted that, if Clinton were to run for president in 2016, the GOP, well, might not stand a fighting chance at the White House. "The Republican party is incapable of competing at that level," Gingrich noted before continuing, "… She's a very competent person. She's married to the most popular Democrat in the country. ... It makes it virtually impossible to stop her for the nomination. Trying to win that will be truly the Super Bowl." [Source]
