Reporters slammed for interviewing students after Connecticut shooting
12/14/2012Networks are being criticized widely on social media as reporters interview children who were witnesses to the deadly shooting attack at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. Twitter users took immediate issue with various networks' decisions to try to get firsthand accounts from students of what happened inside the school where at least 27 people, including 18 children, were gunned down. As @SurvivinAmerica put it, "I'm sorry news dudes, you should not be interviewing the KIDS right now. Let them go home to their parents. They're kids!!!"
