Alex Boone is 300 pounds of angry fashionista. The San Francisco 49ers guard is livid about the figure he cuts in the sleeker NFL uniforms Nike rolled out this season. "It makes me look fat," he sniffed, "and I'm not fat." Other linemen echo Boone's complaints, noting that the new threads need to be tugged down over their bellies after nearly every play. Maybe that suggests those bellies need trimming, but Boone's wife took one look at her hubby and said, "It looks like you ate a small baby." Maybe Nike should look into making NFL-licensed girdles next. [Source]
