Sears' website inadvertently shows lingerie model's nipple

9/13/2012

Oh dear: an inadvertent nip-slip in a family catalog. Sears' website offers a lingerie item called a Morris Babydoll Mesh & Lace (only $25.25 and a lovely shade of purple), but the company showed a little more of the shapely model underneath the see-through nightie than customers might have anticipated from the granny-friendly store. It appears that the overly revealing photo came from a third-party retailer selling items via Sears' Marketplace, in apparent violation of Sears' terms. After a Reddit user flagged the racy item, initially offered at a discount but now, disappointingly, no longer available, one commenter quipped, "Looks like there was an extra 10 percent off that Sears wasnt expecting." Ba-dum-bum. [Source]
