Man whose lost finger was found in trout doesn't want it back, thanks

9/26/2012

We don't know who would have been more surprised: the fisherman who found a human finger inside a fish he was cleaning, or the trout that swallowed it. Nolan Calvin put the finger on ice after he found it in the fish from Priest Lake, Idaho, and called the sheriff’s office. Detectives matched the fingerprint to Haans Galassi, 31, of Colbert, Wash., who'd lost four fingers in the lake two months earlier in a wakeboarding accident. After locating Galassi, the sheriff offered to return his finger. "I'm like, 'uhhh, I'm good,'" said Galassi. Detective Sgt. Gary Johnston observed, "There's still three more, too. It's hard to say where those are going to end up." [Source]
