North Korea trains farmers of tomorrow on tractor simulator
4/6/2012North Korea is often considered a bit of a backwater country, one lacking in the basic conveniences the developed world takes for granted, but some schools are all about using technology to train the country's farmers of tomorrow. And no, that training doesn't involve letting students get behind the wheel of something like an actual tractor; that would get expensive if they hit anything. Instead, children studying farming at the Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace in the town of Samjiyon learn to work the fields with the help of some tricked-out tractor simulators. The body could use a new coat of paint, but where else are you going to find a tractor with a monitor? Good luck.
Is this a good way to train students?
