Nothern Illinois in the Orange Bowl against FSU. BCS=failure. 1 and 2 are playing but have to look at the whole system and it has failed.

12/3/2012It didn't take long for tempers to flare over this season's college football bowl matchups. Even before the BCS officially announced that Northern Illinois would get a spot in the coveted Orange Bowl, news had already leaked, and the Twittersphere was alternately furious and delighted by the time it was confirmed. The college from the Mid-American Conference, which has never before played in a BCS bowl, knocked out Oklahoma, a school with a great football tradition and a less-than-perfect record that was hoping for an at-large bid to one of the top-tier BCS bowls. Instead, the Sooners will have to content themselves with a spot in the Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M, and NIU has claimed the crown as this year’s biggest BCS buster. [Source]
