Twitter haunted by Aaliyah's posthumous new song

8/7/2012

There have been rumors that musician Drake would be involved in releasing a posthumous Aaliyah album, and on Monday her fans got their first taste of the new project. The just-released first single, "Enough Said," features Drake along with the haunting voice of the R&B singer who died 11 years ago this week in a plane crash. Not everyone was happy about the debut, and some people took to Twitter to express their frustrations. "I like drake but if anyone should finish Aaliyah's album it should be missy Elliot & timbaland," tweeted @helloMFkittyo_0. Others were happy to hear her voice again, regardless of who else was involved in the project. "I keep believing in my head that Aaliyah is still alive, just took a break, and decided to come back," wrote @iLoveOnikaa_.
